Hampton Doors was delighted to be invited to supply the hotel with specially designed veneered American Black Walnut doorsets as part of The Mews Suite project.

The Mews Suite has been conceived as a home away from home, designed over three levels this contemporary townhouse affords complete privacy whilst having all the amenities and hospitality that The Connaught is world famous for providing.

Our carefully sourced Walnut was used to produce Art Deco inspired doorsets which today stand proud amongst this elegant suite’s various works of art and antiques.

Walnut is easy to work and machine to an exceptional finish. These attributes, coupled with the unique aesthetic and luxurious quality of the wood, made it the perfect choice for this project. It is why Walnut is so often the first choice in the crafting of high end furniture, cabinet making, joinery and flooring.
